Mjolnir (or Mjölnir), the enchanted hammer belonging to the Norse god Thor, is one of the most famous weapons in mythology. It’s name means “the grinder” or “the crusher”, and it was considered one of the most fearsome weapons in all the realms of gods and men. In one telling, it was fashioned by dwarves in a bet with Loki, and then given to Thor after Loki tried cheating them. In more recent retellings, it was commissioned by Odin from a mystical metal, and enchanted so that only Thor could wield it.
Our own interpretation of Mjolnir is fashioned from stainless steel, and shaped in an industrial metal press, before being welded, heat-treated, quenched and polished by hand. It’s finished with leather wrapping for the handle and a strap for the pommel, which is precision engineered to last, plus your choice of various laser etched designs, including custom scrollwork depicting Yggdrasil and the Nine Realms by Melbourne artist Laura Herman.
You won’t find a better smith this side of Asgard.
